Accounts and families
Find it Studio › Accounts
An account is who you bill. Usually that is a family: the parents are the contacts, the children are the students, and one balance covers all of them. Opening an account shows its students, its money, its people, and its message history in one place.
Adding a family
- Press New account and fill in the account name and the primary contact — the person you would actually call.
- Save, then add each student to the account from the account's own page.
- Add any other contacts who need to be reached, such as a second parent or an emergency contact.
Things you can do from the list
The account list is not just for looking at. Tick several accounts and the buttons at the top act on all of them at once:
- Send payment request — asks the family to pay what they owe, with a link that takes them straight to paying it.
- Send signature request — sends a waiver or contract out for signing.
- Search and filter by name, email, phone, primary contact, status, or balance due, so “everyone who owes me money” is one click.
Account audit. Each account keeps a running history of what
happened to it and who did it. When a parent insists they were never
charged for something, this is where you look.
