Trials and memberships

This is where you define what you sell. There are two kinds of thing on this page, and they do different jobs.

Trial products

The offer that gets someone through the door — two weeks free, a month for $49, a single taster class. A student on a trial is labeled TRIAL everywhere, so you can see at a glance who still needs converting.

Membership plans

Ongoing tuition. Each plan has a price and a Frequency — how often it bills — and is either Month-to-Month, which continues until canceled, or a Contract for a fixed term. Plans you no longer sell can be set Inactive, which hides them from new sign-ups without touching anyone already on one.

To put a student on a plan, open the student and assign the membership. From that point on the nightly billing run raises their invoices for you — you do not bill them by hand each month.
