Settings, staff and roles
Find it Admin › Settings
Settings is one long page with a jump menu at the top. Most of it is set once and forgotten. The parts that matter:
- Studio profile — name, contact email, address, logo, and timezone. Get the timezone right: it decides what “today” means for every class and report.
- Appearance — your accent color, which recolors buttons, the active menu item, tabs, and toggles for everyone at the studio, in both light and dark. Errors, delete buttons, and overdue rows stay red on purpose.
- Organization mode — accounts or students-only. See Two ways to organize.
- Staff — who can sign in, and what they can do.
- Notifications — which reminders appear on the dashboard, and Signup Alerts: an email (or, once texting is on, a text) the moment someone signs up from one of your forms or your website.
- Payments — your Stripe connection and payout details.
The three roles
- Owner — full access, including settings and payments.
- Admin — nearly the same; runs the studio day to day.
- Staff — front desk and instructors. Can do the daily work, but not change how the studio is set up.
Give every person their own account rather than sharing one. It costs nothing, and it is the only way the audit trails elsewhere in this guide can tell you who actually did something.
