Cedar on your phone
Cedar runs in your phone's browser and installs to the home screen like an app. It is the same Cedar, with the screens laid out for a phone. The bottom bar has Home, Accounts, Projects, Time, Finance and Me.
Installing it
- Open Cedar's phone page in your phone's browser and sign in.
- Use the browser's Add to Home Screen option.
- Open Cedar from the new icon. It keeps your sign-in for thirty days.
The crew's day
The crew's home screen shows the clock, today's tasks across their projects, and each project with a daily log. They clock in against a project and cost code, write the day's log, take photos and mark tasks done. Crew never see a project's money.
When the signal drops
Clock punches, daily logs and photos made without a signal are kept on the phone, in the order they were made. Cedar sends them as soon as the signal returns, and it does not send the same one twice.
What stays on the desktop
A few actions open the desktop screen: a new invoice, a quick charge, printing a quote, and some receipts. The phone links you there for them.
