The choices on your sign-in page are now defined by the product itself rather than by one list shared across all of them, so what you are offered matches what that product actually runs, and the name on each choice is that product’s own.

Somebody given access to the family portal, and nothing else, could reach the sign-in page and find no way in at all — the portal was simply not among the choices the page knew how to draw. Every access you have been granted now appears.

Products with no kiosk or no front desk screen were still offering them, and picking one opened the ordinary app with nothing on screen explaining why. Those choices only appear where they exist, and picking one now lands you on the page it names.

The webmail sign-in page has moved from red to the Axion blue and violet on a dark navy background. The Sign in button, the Desktop and Mobile choice and the highlight on the field you are typing in all use the new colors. Sign-in errors are still shown in red so they stand out.

Type www.axionsoftware.dev/webmail into your browser and you are taken straight to the webmail sign-in page.

Choosing a site that was just moved to a new server no longer sends you back to your list of sites. It opens at that server's own name for the few minutes it takes to join the permanent address.

When a product moves to a new permanent address, sites keep opening at their server's own name until the new address has its security certificate, so nobody is sent to an address that shows a browser warning.

When you choose a site after signing in, it opens at the product's own address instead of the name of the server it happens to run on. Before, some sites opened at a server name such as us-central-2.axionsoftware.app, which changes if the site moves. The address in your browser now stays the same for as long as you use the product.

If your site has moved to a different server since you last opened it, your browser is sent to sign in again rather than being passed to a server your site is no longer on.

For part of today, choosing a site on some servers brought you straight back to the list of sites instead of opening it. Choosing a site opens it again.

When the address a product opens at has a problem, we can switch every product at once to open directly on the server your site runs on. You sign in the same way, with the same password and second factor. The address in your browser shows the server's name instead of the product's for as long as this lasts. If you were already working in a product when the switch happens, open it again from the sign-in page. A bookmark to the product's usual address may not load until things are back to normal.

“Running in degraded mode. Some services may not work while the proxy is off.” appears at the top of the sign-in page and your site list, and at the top of every page in Axion Dojo and Axion Dojo Organization. It cannot be dismissed, and it goes away on its own once everything is back to normal.

When the product's address is working again, sites keep opening directly on their server for about half an hour before switching back. That gives computers and networks time to catch up, so nobody is sent to an address their connection still thinks is missing.

The page shown when a site is paused for an overdue payment was meant to offer a button to pay the balance and reopen the site, and it only ever showed the support address. The button is there now. Paying on it reopens the site straight away, and the support address is still on the page for anyone whose bill looks wrong.

Pausing a site used to stop only the next sign-in, so anyone already inside kept working. Now, within a couple of minutes, the next page they open signs them out, and the sign-in page says the site was paused for an overdue payment. This covers the web studio, the phone app and the attendance kiosk. Parents on the Account Portal are not signed out.

A site is paused only when a payment for its own membership is overdue. A one-off charge, a setup fee or an add-on can be late without ever pausing the site. A membership payment the card company gave up retrying still counts, and can be paid from the same page.

A membership invoice that was issued without a due date now has 30 days from the day it was issued before it can pause a site, rather than being left without a deadline at all.

If a retried card payment goes through, the site reopens with the next daily billing update instead of waiting on us. If the invoice behind the pause is canceled, the site reopens at once.

If a browser has done nothing for an hour -- no click, no typing, no page opened -- the next thing it tries to open is the sign-in page, with a note saying why. Moving the mouse or typing counts, so someone filling in a long form is not cut off. A support chat left open in the corner does not count, so a computer somebody walked away from cannot keep itself signed in. Five minutes before the hour is up, a banner counts down with a “Stay signed in” button. This covers the web studio, the parent Account Portal and the sign-in page; the phone app and the attendance kiosk are not timed out.

When a new version of a product is installed, everyone signed into it is signed out on their next click and signs in again from the start -- password, and the second factor where their site requires one. Only the product that was updated is affected, and installing the same version again signs nobody out. The phone app is included and notices the next time it is opened. The attendance kiosk is the one exception: a lobby tablet stays signed in.

A browser in constant use still signs in again after twelve hours, so a front-desk computer is never left signed in for days on end.

A tab left open past its hour, or through an update, no longer sits on screen waiting for the next click. It hides the moment the time is up, checks again whenever you come back to the window or wake the computer, and goes to the sign-in page. Signed-in pages are also no longer kept by the browser, so the back button cannot bring one back after you sign out.

Each of these endings has its own sentence: signed out after an hour without activity, signed in for the twelve-hour limit, or signed out because the site was just updated -- so nobody is left wondering whether they did something wrong.
